Every child deserves a classroom that comes to them.
POTENT-ial applies attachment-based neuropsychology to transform the home into a powerful learning hub — because home is where every connection finds its potential.
The Crisis in Home Education broadening social exclusion
The gap between school and home is widening.
Research shows that most interventions help childhood development, reduce bullying and learning disorder related shame when implemented thoroughly. Most are not implemented thoroughly. Potent-ial is your homework implementation partner.
of Australian parents feel unequipped to support their child's learning at home
children in regional and remote areas lack access to adequate digital learning tools
school days lost annually due to learning disruptions that could be prevented with the right support
The Research Is Clear
Most interventions work. Almost none are implemented thoroughly.
A landmark finding across our research: the gap between what works in theory and what happens in practice is not a knowledge problem — it is a connection problem.
"Most interventions help a little if implemented thoroughly. Most are not implemented thoroughly."

POTENT-ial is the synapse.
Just as a synapse transmits a signal between neurons — bridging the gap so the message gets through — POTENT-ial bridges the gap between intervention and implementation. Between what teachers know and what parents can do. Between school and home. Seamlessly. Accessibly. For every level of technical ability.

Ethical Technology
Children are not data points. They are people becoming.
The same technologies that can empower a child's learning can also be weaponised against them. Predictive algorithms, engagement loops, and exploitative future prediction markets are increasingly targeting children as cyber engineering subjects — shaping their behaviour, preferences, and futures for commercial gain.
POTENT-ial is built on the opposite principle.
We partner with researchers to enhance the potential of the learner through naturally augmented facilitation — technology that amplifies human connection rather than replacing it. Every feature is designed with parent and caregiver oversight at its centre, ensuring that the adults who love these children remain in control of their digital learning environment.
Naturally Augmented Facilitation
Our platform augments what parents and teachers already do well — it does not automate or replace the human relationships that neuroscience tells us are irreplaceable for learning.
Parent & Caregiver Oversight
Every interaction, recommendation, and learning pathway is visible and controllable by the caregiver. No black boxes. No hidden engagement mechanics. Full transparency, always.
Research Partnership
We work alongside academic researchers to ensure our methods are evidence-based, ethically sound, and continuously evaluated — not optimised for engagement metrics.
"I built the tool I needed and couldn't find — one that sees my children's brains as different, not deficient."

Our Founder
Jodie
Founder, POTENT-ial
POTENT-ial was built from the inside out — by a parent who lived the gap it closes.
Jodie is a parent of two school-aged children with ADHD, dyslexia, and dyscalculia. She also has ADHD herself. She knows firsthand what it means to watch a brilliant, creative, deeply capable child struggle inside a system that wasn't designed for their brain — and to feel powerless as a parent to bridge that gap at home.
That lived experience is the foundation of everything POTENT-ial does. Not as a limitation — as a superpower. Jodie brings two Master's degrees in Applied Science, postgraduate qualifications in mental health and neuroscience, and further qualifications in business to a mission that is deeply, personally urgent.
Her vision is precise: use AI to support the agency, autonomy, and uniqueness of developing brains — not replace them. Technology that sees the child, not just the curriculum. A platform that puts parents back in the driver's seat, equipped with the same neuropsychological understanding that specialists spend years acquiring.
Our Platform
Technology built on how the brain actually learns.
POTENT-ial is grounded in attachment-based neuropsychology — the science of how secure relationships create the neural conditions for learning. Our platform connects children, parents, and educators through a shared understanding of what the brain needs to fire, wire, and grow.
Neurologically-Informed Learning Pathways
Our adaptive engine is built on action potential principles — the same electrochemical signals that fire between neurons. Every lesson is timed, paced, and sequenced to match the child's nervous system state, not just their curriculum level.
The Parent as Secure Base
Attachment theory is clear: a regulated caregiver creates a regulated learner. POTENT-ial gives parents real-time neuropsychological guidance so they can be the secure base their child's brain needs to take learning risks.
Home as the Hub
Every connection — to knowledge, to peers, to teachers — transmits more powerfully from a place of safety. We build the infrastructure that makes home the hub from which all those connections find their potential.

Why Atlassian
Built on the same values that power the world's best teams.
Atlassian believes that the world's best work happens when teams collaborate openly, communicate honestly, and build with purpose. At POTENT-ial, we've built our entire platform on those same principles — because a child's learning network is the ultimate team, and every node in that network needs to fire in sync.
Support Our Nomination"Atlassian's mission is to unleash the potential of every team. We believe every child is a team of one — and they deserve the neural infrastructure to thrive."
Atlassian Foundation Grant Programme
The Atlassian Foundation Grant Programme supports organisations using technology to create meaningful social impact. POTENT-ial is proud to be nominated — and we're asking Atlassian to help us bring this vision to every Australian home.
Help us bring learning home.
Your support through the Atlassian Foundation Grant Programme will help us reach 100,000 Australian children by 2026 — with technology that empowers rather than exploits, and puts families back in control of their children's digital futures.
